Larkmead is centrally located near all the finest Up-Valley Attractions. Bike or drive
less than 5 miles to world-class attractions including:
St. Helena, located five minutes away by car, is an elegant shopping destination and
includes many fine restaurants, art galleries and the historic Cameo Cinema. A
Farmers Market is held every Saturday at the local park.
Calistoga, just five miles north, is a relaxed spa-centered town. Stroll the main street
stores, cafes and restaurants for a pleasant afternoon or visit the Saturday Farmers
Market.
Wine-tasting rooms surround Larkmead Inn, including two you can walk to:
Larkmead Winery and Frank Family. The famous Sattui winery castle, Castello di
Amoroso, is located just minutes away. Stop in for a tour and wine tasting.
Old Faithful Geyser, a fun tourist attraction located just north of Calistoga, is a
popular stop to learn more about the valley’s geothermal geology.
Bale Grist Mill State Park, features a fully-operational historic flour mill and is a
wonderful stop for even Napa Valley veterans. Its giant water-wheel is one of the most
photographed scenes in the region.
